About Clark County Criminal History

Clark County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, the Circuit Clerk, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, the Missouri Department of Corrections, and the Missouri Sex Offender Registry. No single office holds every part of a person's history. We built this private reference site to make those lines clear and to connect readers with the official portal, counter, address, or phone number that fits the record they need. The focus is practical access to public sources in Clark County and Missouri, with plain explanations of what each source can and cannot confirm.

Why We Built This Site

Missouri makes many records available, yet access depends on asking the right custodian. Clark County arrest and booking questions start with the sheriff. Filed charges, docket entries, judgments, and certified case copies belong with the Circuit Clerk. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Criminal Justice Information Services Division, maintains the Central Repository used for statewide criminal-history checks. Corrections and registry records use still other systems. We bring those official routes, contact details, request steps, and important limits together so readers can choose a source based on the question they are trying to answer.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, not a Clark County or Missouri government service. We have no connection with any court, sheriff, police department, or state agency. Those boundaries mean we cannot do the following:

  • Issue certified court files, criminal histories, or other official records
  • Run an official check or retrieve a record for a visitor
  • Submit a Sunshine request, expungement petition, or court form for someone
  • Give legal advice about a charge, warrant, judgment, or eligibility rule
  • Promise that an agency's hours, fees, address, or procedure has not changed

An official copy must come from the Clark County sheriff, the Circuit Clerk, the MSHP Central Repository, or the other agency that created and keeps it.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes shown on some pages. Each provider controls its service, prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports site operations. We do not set the charge, compile the result, or turn a partner's output into an official Clark County or Missouri record. The originating public office remains the place to verify any match.
